TOTEM
In my manufacturing processes course, I collaborated with 14 fellow students to design aluminum parts that had to stack together as a totem pole upon completion. Our objective was to apply GD&T principles, adhere to precise machining tolerances, and foster teamwork by accommodating each other’s design features. To achieve this, I cut the stock aluminum with a band saw and machined the details using a three-axis CNC, vertical mill, and lathe.
